| Short description: |
The course may be of interest to students of many fields: creative writing, film, media, as well as education, not only in the field of children's literature. The issues discussed during the course concern the phenomenon of popular culture, popular Moomins, an essentially literary creation, but from the beginning multimedia, because "Moomins" are literature "for children", comics for children and adults, animated films, stage performances, gadgets, etc. At the same time, many people find a kind of consolation in these creations, hence the bibliotherapeutic thread present in the course. The course also discusses the art of storytelling and analyzes the material in a Scandinavian cultural context. |
| Learning outcomes: |
After completing the course, the student: 1. knows and understands a. the consequences of generic, genre and stylistic narrative techniques in different storytelling media; 01TP_1A_W03 2. can a. apply the learned writing rules to create fictional and non-fictional stories in various media 01TP_1A_U01 b. apply adequate narrative strategies to achieve the selected goal, especially in terms of double addressing the story 01TP_1A_U02 c. analyze, interpret and evaluate their own and others' writing achievements in the field of storytelling in various media 01TP_1A_U06 3. is ready to a. verification of knowledge and correction of writing achievements in the field of multimedia storytelling 01TP_1A_K01 |

| Additional Information: | This is a 100% online TEAMS course with the occasional use of Moodle. It would be best if you had working cameras, microphones and speakers. The classes merged into sessions will be held in 5-6-hour sessions (45 min/1h): 25.02 14:00-18:00 11.03 14:00-18:00 25.03 14:00-18:00 01.04 14:00-18:00 22.04 14:00-19:30 (final exam) For organizational reasons and international requirements, classes are always held on Wednesdays 14:00-18:00. Inhuman creatures, environmental issues, disasters; 7. other global issues: food, agriculture, multiculturalism, sustainable development, tolerance, "bravery"; 8. values: art, literature, nature, being together, freedom; 9. "terrible things", the seas, the subconscious; 10. joy, happiness, survival; 11. Fairy tales and sagas in Scandinavian cultures; 12 Adventure, horror, vitality, sisu and other Scandinavian values (lagom, hygge). |
