Short description:

The course introduces the phenomenon of ecomedia, relationship between environment and media. A large part of the course is focused on socio-cultural determinants of this phenomenon as well as its contemporary functions.

Learning outcomes:

Student

- possesses knowledge about different understandings of "ecomedia", main institutions related to the phenomenon of ecomedia

- possesses knowledge about socio-cultural and economic conditioning of this phenomenon and its dynamics

- is able to use theoretical knowledge regarding ecomedia in practice

- is able to prepare presentations in Polish and in English

- can speak English B2 level

- is aware of the need of lifelong learning and self-development

- becomes a conscious participant of local development
