Treści kształcenia: | (tylko po angielsku) In this seminar on research ethics we will focus on research on human beings, including the topie of human-machine interfaces. Modern research ethics is strongly influenced by the Declaration of Geneva (1948) and its numerous revisions. The development of the rules contained in the Declaration was a reaction to crimes against humanity that took place during the National Socialist dictatorship in Germany. This part of the German history will be extensively discussed at the beginning of the seminar. In the following, we will concentrate on understanding how this complex set of rules and standards developed over time. What reąuirements does modem research need to meet today? To answer this ąuestion, both legał and ethical norms will be considered. The lecturer is Chairman of the Research Ethics Committee at the Ulm University (Germany) and has ample experience in this field. During the seminar, students will be required to deliver a presentation on a specific field of application of modern research ethics. |
