Skrócony opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) This programme is offered to first year doctoral students studying within the social sciences and is suitable for a wide range of disciplines as it focuses on generic skills. The programme will support students in preparing either a detailed publication plan and outline academic article OR in producing their first academic article for submission to a discipline-appropriate journal. It should be noted that where the student aims to produce a first academic article, they will either need solid original data from previous studies (e.g., master’s dissertation) or might focus on expanding the definition of a concept or developing a thorough literature review. The programme provides directed learning through lectures and workshops, with the expectation that students will undertake at least fifty hours of private study in addition to complete the programme effectively, submitting a substantial draft of their first journal article for assessment. |
