  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;

  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;

The course is dedicated to students who can speak English and like mathematcis.


Skrócony opis:

Presentation of the essence of risk and uncertainty, methods of converting uncertainty into risk and risk management. Students will get knowledge of risk management process and how to implement risk in decision making process. The course includes quantitative approaches that support the process of decision-making in risk situation. The emphasis is put on decisions in business situations, although there are presented also non-financial decision situations (as well as multicriteria decision problems).

Pełny opis:

Presentation of the essence of risk and uncertainty, methods of converting uncertainty into risk and risk management. Students will get knowledge of risk management process and how to implement risk in decision making process. The course includes quantitative approaches that support the process of decision-making in risk situation. The emphasis is put on decisions in business situations, although there are presented also non-financial decision situations (as well as multicriteria decision problems).

Wiedza

Knows and understands basic concepts and principles of industrial property protection and copyrights as well as the need for intellectual property management and its application in decision making problems.

Umiejętności

Has an in-depth ability to prepare in Polish and modern foreign language (English) different written assignments concerning specific issues on decision making.

Has ability to prepare in Polish and modern foreign language (English) oral assignments and multimedia presentations on decision making basing on theoretical aspects of these phenomena and variety of sources.

Has language skills in the theory and practice of decision making discipline in accordance with the requirements appropriate to level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Kompetencje społeczne

Is focused on using methods of risk analysing and decision making in real business situation.

Understands the need and importance of fulfilling ethical standards and professional behavior in the area of decision making, as well as initiating and promoting such attitudes.

Understands the need for continuous long-life knowledge strengthening, may inspire and organize learning process of others.
