TOPSIM General Management II Simulation

Classes are conducted on the basis of decision-making game TOPSIM General Management II. There are five companies competing with each other operating in a simulated market conditions. Every company is represented by a team consisting of several players who can determine the management centralization degree of the team from a centralized (all participants decide together) to the completely decentralized one (each participant group has its own terms of reference). During the game, students make decisions about their business. Classes end with a discussion about the results and the analysis of strategic decisions undertaken by the students.

can recognize and interpret economic and/or social phenomena in the area that is necessary to identify problems related to corporation management

uses basic theoretical knowledge to describe in detail and to analyse economic and social processes and phenomena in corporation management

can forecast practical effects of processes and phenomena in environment and within a corporation using methods and tools from the area of organisation and management

analyses potential solutions of specific organizational problems in corporation and suggests methods and techniques of their implementation
