ECTS credit allocation (and other scores): 0 OR 6.00 OR 4.00 (depends on study program) Basic information on ECTS credits allocation principles:
  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The object of the course:

Obtaining skills in the range of separation techniques in cosmetic analysis

Learning outcomes:

Knowledge:

I_W01:Student knows the modern separation techniques for the analysis of cosmetics and fragrances. (16K-2A_W03; 16K-2A _W04)

I_W02:Student knows the structure of particular equpments applied for separation techniques used in the analysis of cosmetics and fragrances. (16K-2A _W04; 16K-2A _W05)

Skills:

I_U01:The student explains the principle of the particular individual elements of equipment construction used in separation techniques for the analysis of cosmetics and fragrances.(16K-2A _W04; 16K-2A _W05; 16K-2A _U01)

I_U02:Students can design a method for the preparation of samples for analysis of different consistency cosmetics (creams, lotions, shampoos). (16K-2A _W05; 16K-2A _U05)

I_U03:Students can develop a complex measurement strategy to solve complex analytical problems using the techniques of separation in the analysis of cosmetics and fragrances. (16K-2A _W02; 16K-2A _W05; 16K-2A _U05)

I_U04:The student is able to interpret the results, discuss their correctness and draw logical conclusions from real experiments or designed experiments. He can compare their results with those already published in the scientific literature. (16K-2A _W02; 16K-2A _U01; 16K-2A _U02; 16K-2A _U06; 16K-2A _U07)
